Foraging Wild Mushrooms – $25

October 24th – 6:00pm to 8:00pm
October 26th – 9:00am to 1:00pm

Must have at least 5 students for the class to make.

A beginner’s guide to foraging for wild mushrooms.  Did you know that there are over 50 edible wild mushrooms here in Missouri?   Hunting mushrooms, much like hunting for anything, can be both a hobby and a professional necessity.  Join us in this 2-day class to learn how to identify and forage for edible mushrooms that grow this time of year.

Intro to Machining – $60

Starts on October 22nd

4 week class every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Must have at least 6 students for the class to make.

This course is designed to be an introductory course into the Machining or Machinist Field. The focus will be an introduction to the tools associated with the industry, introduction to basic machining processes, and how to use precision measuring tools. Students will leave with a basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Beginning Woodworking for Kids – $20

Starts on October 28th

4 week class every Monday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Need at least 4 students for the class to make.

This is a family-oriented class for kids (ages 10-14 years old) and their parents.  Together, you can help your child learn the basic knowledge of the necessary tools and woodworking.  At the end of this course you will also go home with a birdhouse that you and your child have built together!

Zumba – $5 per class or $20 punch card for 5 classes

Every Monday and Thursday

Ditch the workout, join the party!  Tired of the same old boring workouts night after night?  Join us for our Zumba class!  You will have a ton of fun and meet new and exciting people.  Give your calories one last dance!

Fall Fun Wreath Class – $30

Tues. October 29th and Tues. November 5th

5:00pm to 7:00pm

Have you ever wanted one of those expensive grapevine wreaths you see in the stores, but do not want to pay the price for one?  Why not learn how to make them!?!  In this 2-day class, you can make a beautiful fall wreath to enjoy year after year.

Learn to Sew – $20

Wed. October 23rd, Wed. November 20th, Wed. December 4th

6:00pm to 8:00pm

Do you want to learn how to sew???  This is the class for you! This class consists of 3 parts.  In the first class, you will learn how to make a travel size pillowcase.  During the second class, you will make a reversible BBQ apron.  For the last class, you will be making a clothing dust cover.  Sew much fabric… little time!

November 2nd

10:00am to 12:30pm

Do you want to make a unique piece of decoration for your home?  Or do you want to make an exceptional gift to give to a friend or family member?  You will choose from 7 different designs to put on your wood saw.  This is a great class to meet new people and have fun while you are at it!

Social Media for Beginners– $20

November 19th, 21st, & 26th

5:00 to 6:30pm

We all know that everyone’s lives revolve around technology and the internet. Social media is a great way for friends and families to stay connected whether they are next door or miles apart. This 3-day course is designed for individuals who want to learn about social media and how to utilize it.

The purpose of the Motorcycle Rider Program is to provide quality instruction in safe riding techniques for beginning motorcyclists. Our goal is to increase your skill level and knowledge, in an attempt to produce a safe and conscientious motorcyclist.
