Program Accreditation

Nursing – CC’s nursing program is approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing (ACEN). Upon successful completion of the RN program, students are awarded an Associate of Science degree and then can apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX). Occupational Therapy Assistant-CC’s OTA program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Upon successful completion of the OTA program, students will earn an associate degree and be eligible to sit for the national certification examination for OTA.  Website:

Paramedic– CC’s paramedic program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). Upon completion of the paramedic program, students will attain the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians-Paramedic certification and state licensure. Veterinary Technology – CC’s veterinary technology program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Upon successful completion of the program, students will be awarded an associate of applied science and can sit for the Veterinary Technician National Exam and the Missouri State Exam. The Networking Computer and Network Support (CNS) Technology program trains students to become certified technicians through the Cisco Certified Academy.  (This is approved CISCO Networking Academy “Learning Partner”).
