Intro to Computer Skills- $20
Monday February 12; 4-5pm; RM TC117-119
Learn to maneuver your way around the computer with ease in this introductory course. Learn basic computer terminology and definitions, become comfortable with the keyboard and mouse. Learn to navigate in the Windows 10 environment.

Internet for Baby Boomers-$20
Monday February 26; 4-5pm; RM TC117-119
Get on line quickly and start using everything the internet has to offer. Learn how to connect your computer, tablet, or smartphone to the internet and start accessing websites, email, social media, and more. This will be a fun class so get ready to feel more at ease about the internet.

Learn Basic Power Point- $20
Monday February 5; 4-5pm; RM TC117-119
Learn to create and deliver a presentation in PowerPoint. Gain skills to help design your presentation; add graphics, animation and sound; insert charts and organize slides.

Basic Excel 1 & 2-$20 per session
2nd Thursday of the Month, 4-6pm; RM TC117-119
Excel 1: Explore Excel 2010 and learn to edit, view, and print worksheets; work with formulas and functions; format cell content; change appearance of worksheets, and chart and transmit worksheet data.
3rd Thursday of the Month
Excel 2: Continue learning the system with additional methods of viewing and creating new files, open existing files, save, send, protect, preview, and print files, set options for Excel, and more.

Creative Arts/Crafts

Carlette’s Crafts – Registration Fee Varies
Tuesdays 6-7pm; RM TC117-119
This is a variety craft class open to all ages. Examples: pallet crafts; painted rocks, painted canvases, burlap hearts, and mason jars! Creativity and Imagination are key, there is no limit to the possibilities of creation in this class, grab a friend or bring your kids for a great time!

All Season Wreaths – $25
Last Monday of each month; 5:30-7pm; RM TC130
Puffy wreaths for all seasons. All supplies provided unless noted, make and take your own wreath!

Relax and Paint – $25
Last Friday of the month; 6pm-8pm; RM TC117-119
This class has a max of 10; Bring your own canvas.
This class is based on relaxation. You do not have to be a great painter. The instructor will teach you basic painting strokes and color schemes. It is a great time for you and bring a friend!

Recurve Bow Making
March 6 – Registration fee TBD
This completely hands-on workshop will take you through the entire progression of building your very own recurve-bow. All supplies provided!

Guitar Small Group Lesson – $70
Start March 6
8 weeks on Tuesdays 7-8pm – Join us for a jam session each week to get to know your guitar and learn chords and songs. Class is limited.

Health & Fitness

Zumba with Beth McCully – $5 per class or $20 for a punch card

Monday Farber Hall 5:30pm  Thursdays CTEC Building 5:30pm. First Class is FREE!
Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training – alternating fast and slow rhythms – and resistance training.

Yoga with Cassie – $5 per class or $20 for a punch card
Gentle Yoga – Tuesdays 6-7pm
Gentle Yoga for beginners. This class is 1hr of relaxation for your mind, body and spirit.

Basic Yoga – Thursdays 6-7:15pm
Basic or Vinyasa, also called flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together, is one of the most popular contemporary styles of yoga.. In vinyasa yoga, each movement is synchronized to a breath. The breath is given primacy, acting as an anchor as you move from one pose to the next.

*All participants need to bring a towel or yoga matt to class and water bottle.

Beginners Line Dancing – $10
Tuesdays; 7-8pm; BEGINNING IN FEBRUARY; CTEC (Dell Reed building) Lobby
This class is for participants who want to learn line dancing to classic and today’s country hits. This class does not build on itself so you can come each week or as your schedule allows. The class emphasis is fun, good music and moving your body! Bring your boogie woogie shoes!

Personal Enrichment

Self-Defense – Abduction Prevention $25
2nd Saturday of each month; located in Smith Hall on the Neosho Crowder Campus
Our Self-Defense classes provide training in recognizing and appropriately responding to dangerous situations, and techniques for successfully defending against and escaping the types of attacks most often encountered. We have basic and advanced self-defense for women and co-ed classes, also we are going to be providing church security procedures. See Youth Session for more on the Abduction Prevention.

Motorcycle Training Course  – $225

The purpose of the Motorcycle Rider Program is to provide quality instruction in safe riding techniques for beginning motorcyclists. Our goal is to increase your skill level and knowledge, in an attempt to produce a safe and conscientious motorcyclist.

Concealed and Carry – $80
Saturday April 21; 8am-5pm
This fun 8-10hr course covers handgun safety, basic principles of marksmanship, care and cleaning of a handgun, safe storage and the current laws of the State of Missouri. During the course students will use the firearms simulator to learn and/or improve their marksmanship skills before going to the range for a live-fire session. Handguns and ammunition are provided but you are encouraged to bring the handgun and ammunition that you wish to carry and at least 50 rounds of ammunition.

Family and Finance

CPR – $35 – TBA (minimum of 5 participants)
Heartsaver CPR participants will learn to recognize life-threatening emergencies and to provide immediate care in the CPR training course. Students will be certified in adult, child and infant CPR.

Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University – $100 – 9 week 90 min course – will begin in April

Kids’ Corner

Dance
No costumes, no recital, no commitment, just dance. Last 2 Fridays of each month
Kids Dance
4-5pm $25 per month Ages 6-12. Come have a fun time with no strings, we have an experienced dance instructor come and teach basic, FUN dance moves to your kiddos.
Dance for Tots – 5-6pm $25 per month Ages 4-5. Your tot will learn from an experienced instructor the basics and have a fun time doing it! Come move and shake with Ms. Kate!

Lil’ Artists – $25

3rd Friday of each month – 3-5pm – WORK WILL BE DISPLAYED THE FOLLOWING DAY AT ELSIE PLASTER MUSEUM
Lil’ artist will paint a canvas with the help of the instructor. Their canvas will then be displayed for family and friends to enjoy. The canvas is provided and they will be able to take it home after the show. They will need to wear clothes that can get paint on them.

Kids Cake-Pop – $25
2nd Saturday of each month – 9am-Noon Ages 5-11
CAKE POPS provided!! This is a HANDS ON class, kids will use their creativity to decorate their own pops, and the possibilities are endless! Wear your apron and bring a container to take your cake pops home!

Kids Cupcake FUN – $25
2nd Saturday of each month – 1pm-3pm Ages 5-11
CUPCAKES Provided! Kids will learn to create amazing cupcakes with icing tips and tricks! Kids will have fun decorating 3 different cupcakes. Wear your apron and bring a container to take your cupcakes home!

Youth

Babysitter’s Training – TBA
This is a great first job that can be fun, but must be taken seriously and responsibly. Babysitter’s training will offer training for young people who want to develop skills while learning about basic child care, safety and first aid. This course is recommended for ages 11-16

Abduction Prevention – $25
2nd Saturday of each month; located in Smith Hall on the Neosho Crowder Campus
In rotation with Self-defense we are going to be providing an abduction prevention class for our youth. This class will provide our young ones with the necessary skills to escape and prevent abduction. This class is great for your child/teen to gain knowledge of procedures to ensure their safety if a situation occurs.
