Ongoing Opportunities

We currently have several opportunities to work directly with Elementary schoolers during the school day this spring. We call our in-classroom volunteers Educators, and we ask our educators to commit 2 or more hours each week for the duration of our weekly programming, which in this case is 6 weeks. The requirements for being an Art Feeds Educator are 30+ hours of college credit and/or 500 hours of experience with children or some combination of the two. All Educators are fully trained by Art Feeds before programming begins so they can enter the classroom equipped with confidence.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, complete a background check and will be trained. The volunteer will work with the family to set up visiting times so scheduling is semi-flexible.
