Crowder Tech Center to host 8th graders

Neosho, MO – The Crowder College Technical Education Center will host 450, 8th grade students, November 12-14, for day camp opportunities in the Dell Reed Technical Education Center on the Neosho campus. Students attending will be from Neosho, McDonald County, Diamond, East Newton, and Seneca school districts.

The purpose of the day camp is to showcase the programs offered to these students during their high school years. The students will have their choice of two programs and will participate in activities with those programs throughout the day.

“This day provides insight for our younger students to explore careers. It also showcases the programs we offer when they reach their junior and senior years of high school,” stated Jim Williams, CTEC Student Services.

The media is invited to the Dell Reed Technical Education Center on any of these days. Please contact my office if you plan to attend for assistance. The following is a schedule of the daily events:

Students will start their first program at 8:30 am, followed by lunch at 11 am, and their second program choice at noon. The day will conclude at approximately 2 pm.
