Crowder Soccer Players Earns Region 16 Recognition

Neosho, MO – Crowder College Roughrider Soccer Players Evandro Conceicao and Daniel Doherty were named to the All-Region 16 First Team in Division I Men’s Soccer.

Conceicao is a sophomore for the Roughriders this season. He had six goals and three assists on the season. Doherty is a freshman scoring eight goals with five assists.

“These two were very important players for us this season. Evandro was the leader of this group and was an anchor for us in the back line. He also scored some timely goals for us. Daniel had a great season despite missing 2 weeks with an injury. He has a ton of room to still grow and be a very important player for us next season,” stated Coach Steven Harrison.

Crowder College’s Soccer program began in 2008 as an NJCAA Division I sport. In his first season, the Roughriders earned runner-up in the Region 16 tournament. Coach Harrison has coached at the college level for 15 years.
