CROWDER FOUNDATION ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF WREATHS

NEOSHO, MO – The 15th Annual Festival of Wreaths takes place Tuesday, November 14, 2017, in the Elsie Plaster Community Center on the Crowder College Neosho campus. The evening begins with a silent auction at 4:00 p.m. followed by the live auction at 6:30 p.m. Festival of Wreaths serves as Crowder College Foundation’s largest fundraiser for scholarships. The event has grown every year through the sale of wreaths, trees, centerpieces, trips, electronics and more. Last year, more than $127,000 was raised. Organizers hope to exceed that amount this year.

Hundreds of area businesses and supporters of the college donate items to the auction. This year the auction has several different items including a Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers autographed electric guitar, The Eagles Hotel California autographed record album, a Twister Safe, a NASCAR driving experience for two, prints from Doug Hall and Jack Dawson, a beautiful hand-crafted side table, a fishing expedition, and several trips including Ireland, Costa Rica, & Sonoma Wine Country. Tons of gift baskets, toys, tools, and of course holiday décor!

You may preview auction items in advance by visiting 501auctions.com/festivalofwreaths. Bidding will open on silent auctions items at 4 pm Monday, November 13.

Guests can Christmas shop and help a student attend Crowder all in the same evening. Live auction services are provided by Bob Lasswell and Associates.

Automated bidding service will be used again this year. Guests are asked to bring a fully charged smart phone to use for bidding. Bidding assistants will be on-hand during the event to assist guests who do not have a smart phone or need help placing bids. Pre-registration is encouraged.
