Tiffany Slinkard, TRIO Director
I graduated from McDonald County High School and then elected to attend Drury University in Springfield, MO. I earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in psychology. I then earned a master’s degree in biology from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS. I have now been with the Crowder College TRIO Programs since 1995. I genuinely enjoy my work with students and staff and love working in the college environment. In my spare time I listen to music, travel, read, dabble in photography and snow ski. My favorite saying, which frequently comes with a high-five is, “You Rock!” |

Doreen Clouse, TRIO Assistant
Hello, I am Doreen Clouse, the TRIO Administrative Assistant. I graduated from Crowder College in May 2005 with an Associates Degree in Accounting. I am continuing to take classes at Crowder to obtain a Business Degree. As a student at Crowder, I learned about the TRIO Program through the SSS group. Since then, I have learned that there are a variety of opportunities that TRIO offers students. The most important thing I have learned is that an education is a fundamental action for anyone wanting to succeed in life. I truly enjoy my position, knowing that I am playing a small part in helping students advance and learn that college is a wonderful experience. In my spare time I enjoy coaching softball and attending my children’s sporting events. I love reading, listening to good music, and hanging out with my family. I have been married to my husband, Mike for over 20 years. We have four great kids: Derrick, Courtney, Breonna [a.k.a. Breezy], and Braydan. |

Lisa Adams, Academic Coordinator, Student Support Services (SSS)
When I began my college career at Crowder College in the fall of 1990 I was a straight out of high school freshman. When I completed my Bachelors degree from Missouri Southern State University in May 2006 I had a husband, three kids, a mortgage and a full time job. I understand the value of completing your college education regardless of the number of years it may take. In 1993 I began my career with Crowder College. I have always worked within the Student Services area because I feel there are no greater rewards than helping a student achieve their goals. My hobbies are attending my children’s sporting events, reading and working in my flower garden. |
