High School Equivalency (HSE formerly GED) Scholarship

Eligibility

Any student, who passed the high school equivalency (HSE) with a minimum score 75, is eligible for this scholarship. The initial scholarship award must be used within the first year following completion of the HSE test.

Renewal

Eligible students must maintain and successfully complete full-time status with a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. each semester. This scholarship may be renewed for up to three consecutive semesters.

Amount

HSE scholarship awards are $625 per semester. Scholarships will be applied to standard educational fees.

Apply

Qualifying students must provide official copies of their HSE scores and apply through the Financial Aid Office (Phone: 417.455.5434).

Students who pass in Missouri with a score lower than the scholarship standard are eligible for a three credit hour, in-district tuition waiver. This is a non-renewable tuition waiver. This award must be used within the first year following completion of the HiSET test.
