Crowder Foundation to present scholarship

Neosho, MO – The Crowder College Foundation will present $270,000 to two hundred ninety-seven students at the Annual Scholarship Banquet on Monday, September 23, 5:30 pm, in the Bob Sneller Gymnasium on the Neosho campus.

Scholarship recipients and donors will be honored with dinner and recognition of their scholarship award for the 2019-20 academic year.

“We’re pleased to honor these students, and to recognize the donors who made these scholarships possible,” said Jim Cullumber, director of institutional advancement for the college and its foundation. “This event gives donors a wonderful opportunity to sit with their scholarship recipients. And it helps remind our students that they are not alone in their journey.”

This year’s banquet is dedicated in the memory of Fred Clark, a longtime friend and scholarship supporter of the Foundation.

Joe Lewis, class of 1991, will be recognized as the 2019 Outstanding Alumnus award recipient.

To continue in the quest for servant leadership, the catered dinner is made possible by the Crowder College Agriculture department staff and students. Southwest Missouri Bank is helping underwrite the cost of the banquet.
