Crowder Theatre presents “A Holiday Gift to the Community”

A Holiday Gift to the Community: A Collection of Student Acting and Short Plays. December 8 - 9 7pm nightly. Free admission with the donation of one canned food item.

Neosho, MO – Crowder College Theatre Department will perform a collection of student acting projects and short plays December 8-9, 7pm nightly in the Blackbox Theatre located inside the Elsie Plaster Community Center on the Neosho campus.

“There will be a variety of short scenes and plays performed by students from Acting I, Theatre Practicum, and scholarship students,” stated Annie Smith, Theatre Director/Instructor. This is her first season at Crowder College.

Annie Smith, the new Crowder Theatre Director, is excited to join the Crowder family. A native of southwest Missouri, Annie completed her undergrad work at College of the Ozarks before earning her Masters of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Southern Mississippi. Outside of theatre, Annie is an award-winning author. With her husband and two children, Annie enjoys hiking the Ozarks and frequenting her local library.
