Crowder College Webb City First Responder Ceremony Planned

Webb City, MO – The Webb City & Carl Junction Rotary clubs will host a September 11th Memorial Ceremony at Crowder College-Webb City, at noon on Tuesday, September 11,  The campus is located at 600 S. Ellis, Webb City.

We are fortunate this year to have Dr. Tim Wilson as our speaker.

Dr. Tim Wilson is a 19 year veteran of law enforcement who is the current Chair of the Criminal Justice Department at Missouri Southern State University. Dr. Wilson began his law enforcement career in 1999 with the Neosho Police Department, has worked for the Joplin Police Department as a patrol officer and SWAT Sniper, and recently served as the Chief Deputy of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office. Dr. Wilson is still an active member of the Sheriff’s Office as a reserve Deputy, is the Vice-Chairman of the Jasper County Emergency Services Board, and is a member of the State of Missouri’s Drug Recognition Expert/Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Technical Panel advisory board.

After the ceremony, Webb City and Carl Junction Rotary Clubs will host a BBQ for all area first responders at the Webb City Fire Department.
