We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make our Library Book Sale a success! Volunteers will support with setting up the books for the sale on April 20; assist with greeting shoppers, keeping tables organized, and helping customers carry purchases on April 21-23; or will assit with packing leftover items on the afternoon of April 23. Volunteers are not required to help with all four days. Dates/Times can be adjusted to fit the volunteer’s schedule.

Looking for Youth Soccer Coaches.
6U games are Thursday nights at 6 and the rest play Saturday from 10AM-2PM starting March 12th. Games are played in Cassville and Monett on the other weekends, but this season 4 games in Cassville and 2 in Monett.

Volunteer opportunities available for Crowder students Service Seed Project. Any and every opportunity available, including golf course and Neosho parks upkeep.
Need volunteers to help water trees, weed, and other light maintenance duties throughout Joplin city parks.
Available tasks are cleaning kennels, dog/cat socialization, cleaning and maintenance of shelter property and yards, kennel chores (laundry, dishes, etc).

The thrift store is always needing help to sort through donations and to help with getting items out onto the floor.

(Foster kid non-profit clothing bank) Assistance is needed to help unpack donated clothing items and organizing items for foster kid.
Gentiva Hospice in Neosho has volunteering options for those looking to serve in a unique way. Volunteers are trained & then able to provide companionship and support to the patient and their family. Those who are interested must fill out an application having a thorough and full background check, as well as a drug screen to start the Volunteer training process which consists of reading the Volunteer Manual and in person training with the Volunteer Coordinator.
Projects are available throughout the year to provide approximately four hours of volunteer service. Projects and schedules will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Students should call in advance to schedule.
Help add perishables to pre-made food boxes, push grocery cart with box outside to client & verify them before giving food, unload food items from trucks, general cleaning – sweeping floors, sidewalk, wiping down counters.
Work in preschool classrooms. Activities include playing, reading, and engaging with children ages 3-5 years in a supervised, high-quality preschool. Ongoing daily opportunities for volunteers from 8am-5pm.
We will be hosting a cultural event on May 2nd and will be needing support in setting up decorations along with the marking of booths for the day of the event.
Volunteer hours are from 5:30–8:00 p.m. Students will need to contact us in advance to be added to our schedule.
We offer different opportunities for volunteers. You can volunteer on the construction site and help build our homes, help in our ReStore by getting donations ready for customers, or even volunteer at our front desk where you can answer phones and greet!

Our Dog Playgroup Program is one of our greatest areas of need. This structured enrichment program allows dogs to safely socialize in supervised group settings and provides critical behavioral support that helps them become more adoptable.

Make-A-Wish Special Events Volunteer- Wish Ball!
Make-A-Wish is hosting our second annual Wish Ball event on April 11th at the Oasis Hotel and Conference Center. We provide groceries for families with children from ages 2-18. We need help bagging food items and loading those bags into the vehicles of the families at pick-up. We meet in the back room of the store at 2pm to bag food items and the pick-up is from 3:30-4:30pm.
