RE: Crowder CTEC to host area 8th grade students
Neosho, MO – Crowder College Technical Education Center will host over 400 students in 8th grade from area school to show them career possibilities. Students will be on campus November 13, 8:30am-10am in the Dell Reed Technical Education Center.
The students will have the opportunity to get a glimpse of potential career pathways they can pursue in high school at CTEC.
“We understand that students start forming ideas of what they want to do at an early age,” stated Dana Cobb, Director of Secondary Career and Technical Education. “The tours will provide some insight into career programs offered when they enter their junior and senior years of high school.”
Area schools sending students include: Diamond, East Newton, and McDonald County. These school along with Neosho and Seneca are part of our CTEC High School programs.
CTEC offers training for high school students in: Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive, Commercial Truck Driving, Computer Technology, Construction, Criminal Justice, Diesel Technology, Health Sciences, Teacher Education, and Welding.
