Tutoring

SSS offers its Tutoring Program as a FREE academic support service in addition to the tutoring services provided by Crowder. Each semester, we offer free peer and instructor led tutoring in any requested courses. Tutors and tutees meet as needed for one-on-one and/or group tutoring in CAS 108, MDC 104, and approved campus locations. Our peer tutors are carefully selected students who have achieved a high level of success in the course or discipline that they are tutoring. Tutors are paid at least minimum wage (if not more) for their work, and get to chose the hours that they are available. All tutoring is subject to tutor availability.

How do I access the tutoring services?

Come by and see the staff in the SSS department and request tutoring assistance. They will walk you through the process and provide you with tutoring information and how the service works.
