Crowder Student-Athletics Earn National Academic Recognition

  • 2023-24 NJCAA All Academic

    Neosho, MO – The National Junior College Athletic Association has announced the 2023-24 Academic team and individual awards. Crowder College has eight teams making the list and seventy-one student-athletes earning this high honor.

    To earn a spot on the Academic Team awards the team grade point average must be above 3.0. The teams earning academic awards include:

    • Softball – 3.52 GPA
    • Baseball – 3.51 GPA
    • Men’s Golf – 3.22 GPA
    • Men’s Cross Country – 3.21 GPA
    • Women’s Golf – 3.17 GPA
    • Men’s Track – 3.17 GPA
    • Women’s Soccer – 3.10 GPA
    • Women’s Basketball – 3.07 GPA

    NJCAA All-Academic individual awards were earned by seventy-one student-athletes. This sets a new record for academic honors for the Roughriders.

    “We are proud of the work by our student-athletes as well as our coaches, both on and off the field,” stated Brandi Arthur, Athletic Director.

    First Team honors are awarded to the student-athletes earning a 4.0 GPA

    Baseball: Brock Bearden, Jaxon McAuliff, Colby Morrow, Rhett Richardson, Gavin Siegfried, Jason Avila, Quinton Borders, Ashton Graff-Rowe, Trey Kates, Alexander Kudler, Josh Tribe , Nick Moten

    Basketball: Martyna Adamczewska & Claire Affolter

    Women’s Cross Country/Track: Kandyce Reynolds

    Esports: Marco Castillo, Carson Stevens

    Women’s Golf – Cierra Tunley

    Men’s Golf – Jack Holden

    Men’s Soccer: Keanu Baguio, Will Cooley

    Women’s Soccer: Halle Hernandez

    Second Team honors are awarded to the student-athletes earning a 3.8-3.99 GPA
