Neosho, MO – The National Junior College Athletic Association has announced the 2023-24 Academic team and individual awards. Crowder College has eight teams making the list and seventy-one student-athletes earning this high honor.
To earn a spot on the Academic Team awards the team grade point average must be above 3.0. The teams earning academic awards include:
- Softball – 3.52 GPA
- Baseball – 3.51 GPA
- Men’s Golf – 3.22 GPA
- Men’s Cross Country – 3.21 GPA
- Women’s Golf – 3.17 GPA
- Men’s Track – 3.17 GPA
- Women’s Soccer – 3.10 GPA
- Women’s Basketball – 3.07 GPA
NJCAA All-Academic individual awards were earned by seventy-one student-athletes. This sets a new record for academic honors for the Roughriders.
“We are proud of the work by our student-athletes as well as our coaches, both on and off the field,” stated Brandi Arthur, Athletic Director.
