Crowder Theatre Upcoming Production of Bedtime Stories (As Told by Our Dad) (Who Messed Them Up)

    Neosho, MO – Crowder College Theatre department will present Bedtime Stories (As Told by Our Dad) (Who Messed Them Up), written by Ed Monk, directed by Annie Smith, on June 21 & 22, 7pm nightly and 2pm Saturday Matinee in the Elsie Plaster Community Center on the Crowder College campus in Neosho.

    This production offers a unique edge of cast members, as the group is made up of not only Crowder College and other local college students, but also area youth from 2nd grade to High School Freshman who attend local schools or who are homeschooled.   

    Cast & crew members include:

    Dad played by Greyson Lamp; MSSU student from Neosho, MO studying ecology

    Wally played by Simon Smith; 4th Grade student at Monett Intermediate School

    Ashley played by Holly Gribben; 3rd Grade homeschool student from Joplin, MO

    Katie played by Astrid Johnson; 2nd Grade student at Triway Elementary in Pierce City, MO

    Prince 1 & Horace played by Joe Deatherage; 3rd Grade Student at McKinley Elementary in Joplin, MO

    Princess 2 & Mayor played by Zoe Deatherage; 5th Grade Student at McKinley Elementary in Joplin, MO

    Prime Minister & Father played by Atlas Johnson; Business Administration Student at Crowder College, from Pierce City, MO

    Mindy, Mom & Prince 2 played by Gracie Lawson; 9th Grade student at Neosho High School

    The Sheep & The Poor Old Woman played by Sequoia Sversvold; 3rd Grade Student at Goodman Elementary

    Production synopsis: Dad’s favorite way to help get his three rowdy kiddos to bed is by telling them bedtimes stories. However, dad tends to forget how the classic tales go, so he uses his imagination to keep the stories engaging. These bedtime stories sure aren’t the same ones you grew up with! The entire family will certainly enjoy this production.
