The objective of the Crowder College Cassville Student Support Services (SSS) program is to increase the retention, graduation and transfer rates of program low income, first generation, and disabled participants. The program will provide services such as intensive, one-to-one academic advising, tutoring, workshops, cultural opportunities, financial aid assistance, computer lab access, transfer assistance, campus visits, and community service activities for 140 participants.
In 2010, the Cassville Campus was fortunate to have been awarded a renewable, 5-year, federal grant funded by the United States Department of Education, and was again awarded the grant in 2015. The grant allows the college to serve low-income, first-generation, and disabled students through a TRIO Student Support Services program (SSS). Crowder College is now in the process of writing a renewal grant proposal to continue these services for 2020-2025.
One of the most vital sections of this proposal is a detailed list of commitments from community organizations. We would welcome the opportunity to include a commitment from you and your organization. We recognize the importance of your time; therefore, for your convenience, we have an online commitment checklist form below or a print and fax version. The checklist includes a list of services your organization may wish to commit. Please place an “X” next to any service your organization would be willing to provide and feel free to address other services not listed.
We hope to receive your commitment checklist no later than December 21st.
Please complete the online form below or fax the checklist to 417-847-1367.
We are proud to serve students and we look forward to continuing our work together.
