Computer and Network Support
The Computer and Network Support Technology program (CNS) at Crowder College trains students to become a high demand technician and has actively participated with Cisco Certified Academy through Cisco Systems. Computers have become an integral part of today’s society…they’re everywhere! With this surge of computer growth, there is an ever-growing demand for computer and network support technicians.
Construction Technology
The Construction Technology program prepares students for employment in the construction industry or in related occupations. The program is built around National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) standards and is comprised of a core component covering basic employability skills, introductory carpentry, and construction management.
Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice Associate Degree program is designed to provide the student with the legal, technical, and practical aspects of criminal justice procedures. It will provide the student with opportunities for a career in law enforcement either as a civilian or a sworn in officer of the law. It will also provide for continued education in criminal justice, corrections, juvenile justice, and government or private security operations.

Engineering Technology
Engineering Technology is a field that combines theory and practical knowledge to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge products, systems, and infrastructures. It involves a hands-on, applied approach to engineering that emphasizes problem-solving, analysis and design and implementation rather than research and development.
Fire Science
The Fire Science Program at Crowder College-Cassville prepares the student to enter an exciting career as a firefighter. All courses are taught by experienced firefighters and offer the opportunity for current firefighters to upgrade job skills or prepare themselves as supervisors and leaders in their own departments. It also prepares students who wish to begin a career in firefighting. Crowder seeks authorization for all fire service related classes from the Missouri Division of Fire Safety.
Geographical Information System (GIS)
Geographical Information System professionals play a vital role in collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing geographic data to solve complex problems and facilitate informed decision- making. Utilizing GIS enhances workflows, economic development, transportation, health care, manufacturing, environmental needs and various other sectors linked to location and data. Predicting and planning based on spatial and visual data are key to building stronger economies.

Paramedic
This program consists of five, eight-week college semesters totaling 42 credit hours. The first three eight-week blocks are completed in the classroom and laboratory setting. The fourth and fifth eight-week blocks include skills training and clinical internships.
Patient Care Technician
This certificate program prepares students for employment as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) by developing in students the personal traits and professional skills required to perform as competent entry-level PCT in the hospital setting beyond the training of CNA.
Photography
In fall 2012, Crowder College began offering an Associate of Arts photography degree for those delving into this field as a career. There are several vocational options including photojournalism, fine arts, and commercial photography, which includes weddings, portraits, and product photography.
Practical Nurse (LPN)
Crowder College offers a 52 credit hour program on the path to become a licensed practical nurse. This is a selective admission program offered at the Nevada and McDonald County Instructional Centers. The program prepares graduates who demonstrate entry-level competencies as a Practical Nurse to enter the high demand field of nursing and healthcare.
Spanish
Over the past decade, southwestern Missouri’s Hispanic population has continued to grow. Students who major in Spanish will have the opportunity to learn to speak to others in their native tongue and to gain knowledge about their customs. Since Crowder’s mission is to develop the student beyond course content the Spanish courses focus on Communication and Culture Awareness.
