Transfer Students
• Transfer applicants to Mizzou must have a 2.5 GPA in college-level courses to be admissible. Transfer applicants who do not also meet Mizzou's freshman admission requirements must have completed at least 24 college-level credits and one of the following:
• A college algebra course with at least a C- grade; or
• The equivalent of Mizzou's English 1000 with at least a C- grade.

UMKC considers students who have more than 24 hours of transferable college credit as transfer students. Transfer Students need to have an overall 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale in all coursework attempted at previous institutions. For purpose of admission, UMKC recalculates GPAs without using those listed on transcripts.

All transfer students must meet the following requirements:
• A GPA of at least 2.0 on all course work attempted, including courses that may have been repeated.
• Be in good standing at the last institution attended.
• Students must have 24 transferable credit hours to apply as a transfer student.
Application Check List
• There is a $40 application fee which can either be paid by credit card when using the on-line application form or by forwarding a check or money order to the Office of Admissions.
• Have your high school transcript sent to the Office of Admissions (new and transfer freshmen only). We can evaluate from six or seven semester transcripts.
• Transfer students - College transcripts must be provided from each college or university attended.
• Have ACT and/or SAT scores sent directly to the University by the testing agency (new and transfer freshmen only). [Codes - ACT-0144; SAT-6866]
• Request final transcripts (high school/ and/or college) be sent to the Office of Admissions.
• Notify the U of A of your decision to accept or decline admission by May 1.

Pittsburg State University welcomes qualified students who complete college level work at another college or university. To receive transfer credit, a student must have attended an institution accredited by a regional accrediting body, such as the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
1. Complete the Undergraduate Application for Admission and submit the $30 application fee.
2. Request official transcripts from all previously attended institutions are mailed directly to PSU. Faxed copies can be used for admission and scholarship purposes (fax#: 620-235-6003). A final transcript must be mailed directly from the institution to PSU to complete your admission file.
3. Complete the PSU medical history form.
4. Register to attend the new student orientation program called Pitt C.A.R.E.S. Registration materials are mailed to all newly admitted undergraduates approximately one month prior to the event. For more information visit www.pittstate.edu/admit/enrollment.html.
To qualify for admission, a transfer student must have a minimum cumulative college grade point average of a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Students with less than 24 college credits will be required to submit additional information including a final high school transcript or GED scores and ACT scores before they are considered for admission.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Here are K-State's admissions requirements, established by the Kansas Board of Regents, the governing body for all state universities in Kansas. If you graduated from an accredited high school and meet any one of these three criteria, you will be eligible for admission to K-State:
1. Achieve a 21 or higher composite score on the ACT assessment or a 980 or higher on the SAT I, CR + M. Most students take the test in their junior or senior year of high school. Ask your high school counselor for a schedule of test dates.
2. Rank in the top third of your graduating class.
3. Complete the Kansas pre-college curriculum with a 2.0 GPA.
Out-of-state residents must earn a 2.5 or higher GPA.

If you are an undergraduate student who wishes to transfer from an out-of-state institution to NSU you may do so under the following conditions:
a. If you originally met both the high school curricular requirements and academic performance standards, you must have a grade-point average high enough to meet the current retention standards.
b. If you originally met the high school curricular requirements but not the academic performance standards, you must have a grade-point average high enough to meet the current retention standards based on at least 24 attempted semester credit hours of regularly graded (A, B, C, D, F) college work.
c. If you originally met the performance standards but not the curricular requirements, you must have a grade-point average high enough to meet the current retention standards and must also have completed the curricular requirements before transferring.
d. If you originally met neither the curricular requirements nor the performance standards, you must have a grade-point average high enough to meet the current retention standards based on at least 24 attempted semester credit hours of regularly graded (A, B, C, D, F) college work and must also have completed the curricular requirements before transferring.
