Note: When you are getting ready to transfer, please understand that all colleges and universities are not alike. They all have deadlines, so be sure to call them at least eight months to one year in advance and find out their specific enrollment deadline.

Transfer applicants to Mizzou must have a 2.5 GPA in college-level courses to be admissible. Transfer applicants who do not also meet Mizzou's freshman admission requirements must have completed at least 24 college-level credits and one of the following:
- A college algebra course with at least a C- grade; OR
- The equivalent of Mizzou's English 1000 with at least a C- grade.

UMKC considers students who have more than 24 hours of transferable college credit as transfer students. Transfer Students need to have an overall 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale in all coursework attempted at previous institutions. For purpose of admission, UMKC recalculates GPAs without using those listed on transcripts.
Students will need to submit the following documents:

- $35.00 nonrefundable fee for new applications OR a $50.00 nonrefundable fee for non-resident students applying to the School of Medicine.

Transfer Admission Policy
Any student who has completed at least 24 hours of transferable credit after high school from a regionally accredited college or university with at least a 2.00 grade point average may be admitted to Missouri State.
What is needed for the application process?
- A completed application for admission.

- Pay the application processing fee.
- Provide transcript(s) from all colleges and universities from which you have earned academic credit.

Located in one of the fastest growing areas in the nation, John Brown University is an interdenominational Christian university offering more than 50 major fields of study. All transfer students must meet the following requirements:
- A GPA of at least 2.0 on all course work attempted, including courses that may have been repeated.
- Be in good standing at the last institution attended.
- Students must have 24 transferable credit hours to apply as a transfer student.

- There is a $40 application fee which can either be paid by credit card when using the on-line application form or by forwarding a check or money order to the Office of Admissions.
- Have your high school transcript sent to the Office of Admissions (new and transfer freshmen only). We can evaluate from six or seven semester transcripts.
- Transfer students - College transcripts must be provided from each college or university attended.
- Have ACT and/or SAT scores sent directly to the University by the testing agency (new and transfer freshmen only). [Codes - ACT-0144; SAT-6866]
- Request final transcripts (high school and/or college) be sent to the Office of Admissions.
- Notify the U of A of your decision to accept or decline admission by May 1.

Pittsburg State University (Pittsburg, KS)
Pittsburg State University welcomes qualified students who complete college level work at another college or university. To receive transfer credit, a student must have attended an institution accredited by a regional accrediting body, such as the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
- Complete the Undergraduate Application for Admission and submit the $30 application fee.
- Request official transcripts from all previously attended institutions are mailed directly to PSU. Faxed copies can be used for admission and scholarship purposes (fax#: 620-235-6003). A final transcript must be mailed directly from the institution to PSU to complete your admission file.
- Complete the PSU medical history form.
- Register to attend the new student orientation program called Pitt C.A.R.E.S. Registration materials are mailed to all newly admitted undergraduates approximately one month prior to the event. For more information click here.
To qualify for admission, a transfer student must have a minimum cumulative college grade point average of a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Students with less than 24 college credits will be required to submit additional information including a final high school transcript or GED scores and ACT scores before they are considered for admission.

Northeastern State University (Tahlequah, OK)
If you are an undergraduate student who wishes to transfer from an out-of-state institution to NSU you may do so under the following conditions:
- If you originally met both the high school curricular requirements and academic performance standards, you must have a grade-point average high enough to meet the current retention standards.
- If you originally met the high school curricular requirements but not the academic performance standards, you must have a grade-point average high enough to meet the current retention standards based on at least 24 attempted semester credit hours of regularly graded (A, B, C, D, F) college work.
- If you originally met the performance standards but not the curricular requirements, you must have a grade-point average high enough to meet the current retention standards and must also have completed the curricular requirements before transferring.
