Note: When you are getting ready to transfer, please understand that all colleges and universities are not alike. They all have deadlines, so be sure to call them at least eight months to one year in advance and find out their specific enrollment deadline.

University of Missouri – Kansas City (Kansas City, MO)
UMKC considers students who have more than 24 hours of transferable college credit as transfer students. Transfer Students need to have an overall 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale in all coursework attempted at previous institutions. For purpose of admission, UMKC recalculates GPAs without using those listed on transcripts.

Transfer Admission Policy
Any student who has completed at least 24 hours of transferable credit after high school from a regionally accredited college or university with at least a 2.00 grade point average may be admitted to Missouri State.

- Pay the application processing fee.
- Provide transcript(s) from all colleges and universities from which you have earned academic credit.

- Must have a cumulative grade-point average of 2.00 or higher.

Located in one of the fastest growing areas in the nation, John Brown University is an interdenominational Christian university offering more than 50 major fields of study. - Students must have 24 transferable credit hours to apply as a transfer student.
- There is a $40 application fee which can either be paid by credit card when using the on-line application form or by forwarding a check or money order to the Office of Admissions.
- Have your high school transcript sent to the Office of Admissions (new and transfer freshmen only). We can evaluate from six or seven semester transcripts.
- Transfer students - College transcripts must be provided from each college or university attended.
- Have ACT and/or SAT scores sent directly to the University by the testing agency (new and transfer freshmen only). [Codes - ACT-0144; SAT-6866]
- Request final transcripts (high school and/or college) be sent to the Office of Admissions.
- Notify the U of A of your decision to accept or decline admission by May 1.

Pittsburg State University (Pittsburg, KS)
- Complete the Undergraduate Application for Admission and submit the $30 application fee.
- Request official transcripts from all previously attended institutions are mailed directly to PSU. Faxed copies can be used for admission and scholarship purposes (fax#: 620-235-6003). A final transcript must be mailed directly from the institution to PSU to complete your admission file.
- Complete the PSU medical history form.
- Register to attend the new student orientation program called Pitt C.A.R.E.S. Registration materials are mailed to all newly admitted undergraduates approximately one month prior to the event. For more information click here.

Here are K-State's admission requirements established by the Kansas Board of Regents, the governing body for all state universities in Kansas. If you graduated from an accredited high school and meet any one of these three criteria, you will be eligible for admission to K-State:
- Achieve a 21 or higher composite score on the ACT assessment or a 980 or higher on the SAT I, CR + M. Most students take the test in their junior or senior year of high school. Ask your high school counselor for a schedule of test dates.
- Rank in the top third of your graduating class.
- Complete the Kansas pre-college curriculum with a 2.0 GPA. Out-of-state residents must earn a 2.5 or higher GPA.

As an example, during orientation you will:
- Talk with financial aid, scholarships, residential life, information technology, student organizations, fraternity and sorority affairs, career services, the Honors College, and other campus resources.
- Meet your academic adviser for evaluation of transfer work.
- Enroll for classes.
- Receive your student identification card.

Getting Started At OSU-Tulsa
Complete the following checklist to enroll at OSU-Tulsa:
- Apply for Admission and be admitted to the University.
- Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships.
- Meet your Academic Advisor. Students are encouraged to meet with an OSU-Tulsa academic advisor as early as their freshman year of college. Meeting with an advisor early on will ensure that you enroll in courses at other schools that transfer into the OSU degree you are ultimately interested in pursuing.

If you are an undergraduate student who wishes to transfer from an out-of-state institution to NSU you may do so under the following conditions:
- If you originally met both the high school curricular requirements and academic performance standards, you must have a grade-point average high enough to meet the current retention standards.
- If you originally met the high school curricular requirements but not the academic performance standards, you must have a grade-point average high enough to meet the current retention standards based on at least 24 attempted semester credit hours of regularly graded (A, B, C, D, F) college work.
- If you originally met the performance standards but not the curricular requirements, you must have a grade-point average high enough to meet the current retention standards and must also have completed the curricular requirements before transferring.
- If you originally met neither the curricular requirements nor the performance standards, you must have a grade-point average high enough to meet the current retention standards based on at least 24 attempted semester credit hours of regularly graded (A, B, C, D, F) college work and must also have completed the curricular requirements before transferring.
