The Joplin Advanced Training and Technology Center (ATTC) provides state-of-the art equipment preparing students to enter the workforce.

Crowder College has partnered with the Joplin Chamber Foundation to offer a condensed schedule for students wanting to go directly to work after training.

How the courses are formatted?

Most programs are scheduled to allow students to complete a program in one semester. This makes it easier for a person to complete a program and then enter the workforce in a short amount of time.
The Welding program is currently a two semester program with 46 hours of training in just 8 months.

How much does it cost to attend?

Programs taught at the Joplin ATTC are approved for financial aid. To qualify, a student will complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
Tuition is one of the lowest you will find at Crowder College. These programs are provided with state-of-the-art equipment and top-notch instructor providing you the highest quality training.

High School graduates who are eligible for Missouri A+ benefits are able to attend the Joplin ATTC and have their tuition and fees, common to all students, paid due to their participation and completion of the A+ Progam at their high schools.

IT Networking Certificate

Programmable Logic Controller Technician Certificate

Welding-Pipe, Plate & Fabrication Certificate

Do you have a place for me to stay while I am in the Program?

Crowder College also offers on-campus housing at the Neosho campus (less than 30 minutes away). This is a great place when you only need housing for 1 or 2 semesters and do not want to commit to a long-term lease.

When can I start?

You may enroll now for fall classes. Students will be able to apply throughout the year and sign up for the sessions as seating will be limited.

How do I get started?

  1. Fill out and submit an Application for Admissions ($25 application fee required)
  2. Provide an official copy of your high school transcript or GED/HSE and any previous college credits
  3. Schedule an appointment to enroll with your Advisor
  4. Schedule an appointment to apply for Financial Aid (if applicable)
  5. Order your books and other supplies from the Bookstore (books and supplies may be charged to your student account)
  6. Start Classes!
