Administrative Assistant to High School Equivalency Program (HEP), Crowder College.
HEP is a U.S. Department of Education grant funded program to assist migrant and seasonal farm workers or their children earn high school equivalency diplomas. This is a full-time position at $10.23 per hour, with full benefits. Working hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. General office support duties including budget documentation, record-keeping, filing, computer entry, communicating with students and their families, and serving as receptionist. Site Coordinator for High School Equivalency Program (HEP), Crowder College. This position is responsible for monitoring HEP off-site classrooms; coordinating GED testing, training, orientation, and graduation program; and serving as the on-site liaison to faculty and staff. Requires minimum of Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred; valid driver’s license; and strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Fluency in Spanish and English and willingness to travel/drive required. Must demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to the needs of the migrant and seasonal farm worker community. Male Housing Assistant, Crowder College
. Half-time position with salary of $9.84/hour plus room and board. Must live in College Residence Halls and be on-call on alternate weekends. Responsibilities include assisting with coordination of student housing to include processing applications, housing assignments, discipline, security and safety, data entry and reporting, handling funds and balancing deposits, monitoring physical facilities, and receptionist and other miscellaneous duties as needed. Associate degree or equivalent preferred and two years of related work experience, accuracy in data entry and math calculations, computer literacy, dependability, and excellent interpersonal skills. An individual is needed to assist with liaison activities to facilitate academic communications among various constituent groups as classes and other activities within the county continue to expand.
