Distance Education is the official title for all Online Classes here at Crowder College. Courses offered through Distance Education mirror on-campus courses in terms of their scope, study requirements, and level of difficulty yet, differ from on-campus courses in that they offer more flexible opportunities for students who find it difficult to attend on-campus classes.

Online Classes offer students an opportunity to break through barriers of time and space. No longer do you have to travel to a classroom. With Online Classes you can work at a time most convenient for you. However, because these classes are delivered online, they are reading, writing, and research intensive courses. Online Classes may not be for everyone. Since these classes involve additional technology, they require a higher level of self-motivation and self-discipline.
