RIDERS COURSE
The purpose of the Motorcycle Rider Program is to provide quality instruction
in safe riding techniques for beginning and experienced motorcyclists.
Our goal is to increase your skill level and knowledge, in an attempt
to produce safe and conscientious motorcyclists.
The Basic Rider Course is designed to provide a foundation of knowledge
and skills for people who have never ridden, as well as those who have
ridden up to 10,000 miles. The novice or occasional rider can benefit
in the areas of skill development with emphasis for survival as a street
rider.
Because the Beginners Rider Course can be taken in lieu of the range-riding
portion of the Department of Revenue license examination, successful
completion of a written and skills evaluation is required to pass the
course.
Students must be 15 ½ years of age or older (parental consent
required for 15 ½
-17 years of age). Motorcycles and helmets are provided.
The Experienced Riders Course consists of six hours of skills practice
and discussion on the range.

BASIC MOTORCYCLE MAINTENANCE CLINIC
Hands on training !!!
Get involved with your machine !! Learn how to maintain your bike and
save money too. Plenty of hands-on and Q& A. Students will be instructed
on how to change oils, filters, other fluids, and chain and drive-line
maintenance. Information will be provided on what tires and other products
are best for your bike and riding style. Info on tune-ups and more.
Students are invited to bring their own motorcycle to class or may work
with the ones provided. This will be a fun and informative session.

Motorcycle Technician and MSF Rider Coach
WEAVING
Learn how to interlace threads of yarn by hand looming techniques. Beginning
weaving students will learn how to work a 4 harness loom. Participants
will learn how to plan and execute a personal project. This is a 13
week course.
Students may enroll in this class at anytime.

AUTO MECHANICS FOR LADIES
Ladies bring your daughters, granddaughters, nieces, friends to this
unique auto mechanics class. You no longer will need to ask for assistance
when something goes wrong with your vehicle. Students will learn how
to change a tire, change the oil, filters, usage of battery cables,
what the warning lights mean when they appear on your dashboard and
how to change the wiper blades. A lot of questions and answers. This
will be a fun class!!

DECORATING I
Pat a Cake….Bake a Cake…Decorate a cake as fast as you can
Get ready for the holidays!!!
Come and have fun learning how to make a masterpiece. Instead of purchasing
those birthday and special occasion cakes and cookies, create them yourself.
In six easy lessons students will learn to create beautifully decorated
cakes. Students will start with the fundamentals of learning how to
smooth the frosting, make flowers and borders. Imagine the great cakes
you can make for special occasions and the holidays, it’s fun
and easy.

REINVENT YOUR TREASURES
This class will include all of the following lessons of design:
How to create a budget for your decorating needs by reinventing your
old décor. Examples: old floor lamps, wall sconces, pitchers,
candleholders, etc.
How to plan, decorate, and organize your special event on a budget and
still stand out.
How to entertain for the holidays and make use of your everyday décor
to change with the seasons.
How to prepare basics for making your own centerpieces and arrangements
for your tables and mantels.
Greeting your guests by decorating your entrance to your home or location
for special events.
How to choose your favorite décor and groupings to flow with
a theme for your design.

operate effectively, we need to encourage positive “chi”,
or life energy, into our environment. See how the design of your home
or workplace may be creating negative energy, and uncover simple ways
to remedy the situation. By shifting and adjusting our spaces to reflect
nature, our own lives begin to flow and function smoothly and effortlessly.

PHOTOGRAPHY I
This course is for students who wish to become familiar with using digital
cameras to capture images, as well as acquire a basic understanding

DIGITAL
PHOTOGRAPHY II
This course is for students who have a basic understanding of digital
photography and wish to enhance their digital technology to a higher
level. Students will learn some advanced concepts of digital photography,
thus improving exposure and eliminating exposure errors. In addition,
students will become knowledgeable about different software applications
available to enhance digital images.

WHAT
DO I DO NOW!!
Participants in this class will learn how to evaluate roadside safety.
Quick checks to find out why your car broke down and left you standing
on the side of the road. How to handle a fender bender. What to do,
who to call, etc. How to be prepared to deal with repair shops and car
dealers. Also, learn drivability problems, diagnosis, and repair procedure.
Students will also learn how to understand instrument panel warning
lights and what can result if they are ignored. Proper car care and
cleaning.
