Statement of Purpose

To provide a student centered, active learning environment that brings together students, faculty, and citizens, to collaborate on creating solutions to challenges facing Crowder College and our communities. Solution Space will promote creativity, innovation, curiosity, motivation, and technology needed to work on real and personally meaningful projects.

Description

The Solution Space will use the concepts of think tanks, hacker-spaces, and maker-spaces to research topics, collaborate, and build/implement solutions to problems and challenges that face Crowder College and our communities.

Goals

  1. Create space for innovation and collaboration.
  2. Engage students, faculty and community in the process of problem solving.
  3. Connect technology & non-technology groups together and open channels of communication between departments on campus and in the community.
  4. Create solutions to challenges facing Crowder College and the community.
