COACH BRANDI ARTHUR

Brandi
Arthur, a 2000 Crowder College graduate, begins her third
season as Crowder’s Head Softball Coach. Her 2007 Lady
‘Riders enjoyed a 42-15 record along with Region XVI
and District K Championships. The ’07 Lady ‘Riders
also earned the honor of participating in the NJCAA National
Tournament in Plant City, Fl. Coach Arthur was named the 2007
Region XVI Coach of the Year and had six of her players selected
to the All-Region Team.
While
at Crowder, Coach Arthur played for the 2000 Lady ‘Riders
who finished 5th at the NJCAA National Tournament. Arthur
was named NJCAA All-Region, and selected to play with the
NJCAA All Stars at the 2000 Canada Cup. Arthur continued her
collegiate softball career at Union University in Jackson,
Tennessee where in 2001 the Lady Bulldogs finished 3rd in
the nation at the NAIA World Series and in the top 10 in 2002.
While at Union, Arthur set the record for games played at
71, runs in a season at 63, and number of times hit by pitch
at 30. Arthur also set the record for longest hitting streak
at 16 games. Coach Arthur’s career win-loss record as
a player is 195-36.
Arthur
brings to Crowder an outstanding background in athletics and
academics. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education
from Northeastern State University and her Master of Science
in Education from Missouri State University. Besides her coaching
duties, Coach Arthur also serves as a physical education instructor.
She resides in Neosho, Missouri with her husband Tony, who
is also Crowder College alumni, and son Brodie.
ASSISTANT COACH LORI VIDEMSCHEK
Lori Videmschek, a 1986 graduate of Crowder College,
begins her second year as Assistant Softball Coach for the
Lady 'Riders. While at Crowder, Lori helped the '86 Lady 'Rider
Softball Team win the first NJCAA Softball Championship, under
the leadership of Coach Annie Westfall. Lori was selected
to the NJCAA All Region Team in '86. She continued her softball
and academic careers at Southwest Missouri State University
where she received her bachelor's degree. Lori will complete
her master's degree in 2007.
Coach Videmschek comes to us from Purdy High School where
she coached softball and basketball and taught elementary
physical education for four years. Her teams made it to the
Missouri State Final Four twice, finishing 4th and runners-up.
Coach Videmschek has been coaching youth sports in the area
for over nine years.
Lori resides on a farm near Purdy, MO, with her husband Kirk,
a former Crowder baseball alumnus, and two sons, Cody and
Dusty.
