Degree Options

Associate of Arts Degree
Crowder’s Associate of Arts Degrees are designed to transfer to a four-year college or university for the completion of a bachelor’s degree in arts or science.

Business Administration
Business Administration at Crowder prepares the business-oriented student for transfer to a four-year business, marketing, accounting, economics or finance program. Business Administration provides a core of general education courses plus specific business courses equivalent to those found in any first and second year business program. The following program is suggested for students intending to transfer following graduation. For best transfer, contact with the senior institution should be made as early in the program as possible.

Health Information Technology
To earn the AAS in Health Information Technology, a student must meet the requirements of the General Education Core and the HIT Core. All courses completed in the Medical Coding Specialist Certificate count toward this degree. Crowder College Health Information Technology AAS degree program is in Candidacy Status, pending accreditation review by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education  (CAHIM).

Associate of Applied Science
Associate of Applied Science Degrees allow students to focus their studies in a specific field. Our AAS Degree Programs are perfect for students who wish to enter the workforce upon graduation. Although not designed to transfer to a four-year school, some programs and classes do transfer, depending on the institution.

Accounting
To earn the AAS in Accounting, a student must meet the requirements of the General Education Core and the Accounting Core. All courses completed in the Accounting Certificate count toward this degree.
