By enrolling in the hybrid paramedic program, students agree to travel to Southwest Missouri for all clinical rotations with whom Crowder College has contractual agreements. Out-of-state clinical partners, other than those already established by Crowder College in bordering states, will not be pursued.
The cost of this program for United States citizens is $4,950. The year 2014 course tuition is subject to change. Tuition does not include lodging or the optional two week “Skill Drill” before beginning Semester Two. The two weeks of intensive training are not required, but STRONGLY recommended. The cost of the skill drill is $250/per student. Included in the skill drill sessions are 10, eight-hour days (M-F) of intense psychomotor skills training. The purpose of skills drills is to not only ensure proficiency of basic-level psychomotor skills based on U.S. standards, but also ensuring mastery of advanced level practical skills before clinical rotations begin. Payment of the skill drill is required up-front, and is to be paid directly to Crowder College. This is not the same as the $250 required for a seat deposit. This cost is for tuition only. It does not include Nancy Caroline’s Paramedic e-book or hardback and virtual classroom, FISDAP clinical scheduler, liability insurance, uniforms, name tags, or books needed for ACLS, AMLS and PALS courses.
Crowder College accepts all forms of United States financial aid including veterans’ benefits (GI Bill, VRAP, etc.). Please contact the Crowder Financial Aid Office to discuss VA benefits (417-455-5434) or fill out your financial aid application at FAFSA.
