

The Business Division at Crowder College offers seven different degrees and four certificate programs. These range from:

The courses include classroom instruction, computer labs with the latest technology, flexible classes, and some online classes to best fit the student's needs.

Business Administration
Business Administration at Crowder prepares the business-oriented student for transfer to a four-year business, marketing, accounting, economics or finance program. Business Administration provides a core of general education courses plus specific business courses equivalent to those found in any first and second year business program. The following program is suggested for students intending to transfer following graduation. For best transfer, contact with the senior institution should be made as early in the program as possible.

Accounting
To earn the AAS in Accounting, a student must meet the requirements of the General Education Core and the Accounting Core. All courses completed in either the Business Management Certificate I or II count toward this degree.
Finance
To earn the AAS in Management, the student must meet the requirements of the General Education Core and the Finance Core. All courses completed in either the Business Management Certificate I or II count toward this degree.

Certificates
Business Management I
Students completing Certificate I or Certificate II in Business Management may pursue an AAS degree in Business Management by completing the remainder of the program requirements. All courses in either certificate program count toward the degree. Students wishing the certificate in Business Management I must complete 19 hours of courses.

Business Management II
Students completing Certificate I or Certificate II in Business Management may pursue an AAS degree in Business Management by completing the remainder of the program requirements. All courses in either certificate program count toward the degree. Students wishing the certificate in Business Management II must complete 31 hours of courses.

Office Administration I
The program gives students the basic skills required by business to work in an office environment. Completing the certificate is the first step in completing an AAS in Office Administration. Students must earn 19 hours for this certificate.

Office Administration II
This certificate provides additional training over the Office Administration I certificate. Students completing the Office Administration I certificate will take an additional fifteen hours to complete this certificate.

PBL/SIFE Student Organization
PBL/SIFE (Phi Beta Lambda/Students in Free Enterprise) is a student organization open to any Crowder College student. PBL/SIFE provides opportunities to participate in community service projects, travel to conferences and competitions, improving leadership skills, and networking with business professionals.
