Theatre presents – A Good Old Fashioned Redneck Country Christmas

 

Crowder College Upcoming Theatre Production

The Crowder College Theatre Department will present A Good Old Fashioned Redneck Christmas, by Kris Bauske, Dec. 7-9, 7:30pm nightly plus a 2pm matinee on Saturday in the Elsie Plaster Community Center on the Neosho campus.

 

The production is directed by Brandon Hall. He is one of five directors for the 2017-18 season. Cast members and crew for the production are as follows:

Bob/Narrator played by Kyle Sternes (Granby, MO)
Bill played by James Compton (Stella, MO)
Jimmy played by Caleb Stephens (Cassville, MO)
Dave played by Tyler Counts (Stella, MO)
Mark played by Jonah Drake (Springfield, MO)
Lou played by Lauren Adams (Joplin, MO)
Barbie Jo played by Hannah Francis (Lamar, MO)
Darlene played by Amy Leyva (Canton, GA)
Mary Sue played by Sarah Swayne (Aurora, MO)

Stage Manager – Caitlin Barker (Neosho, MO)
Assistant Stage Manager – Sam Hoover (Wyandotte, OK)

What if the three wise men weren’t really all that wise? What if they were just three ordinary guys, avoiding conflicts at home, who happened upon the greatest story ever told? Set the entire story in modern day America, sprinkle in a little redneck humor, and you have the smash A Good Old Fashioned Redneck Country Christmas.

“It has been a pleasure and an honor to work with this cast. I can’t tell you all enough how proud I am to have been your director. I hope you all aspire to great things and continue to impress us all with your talents. great job and have a great show,” stated Brandon Hall, Director.

Tickets are available at the door: $8-General Admission; $5–Senior Citizens/Children; $4-Crowder Students/Staff, Free-Campus Residents. The production is rated PG.
